Jeff Blaydes

Jeff Blaydes is the managing member of Blaydes Law, PLLC in Charleston, WV. Blaydes represents employees, educators, unions, injured people, and vulnerable adults in education, labor and employment, personal injury, and guardianship matters. The practice includes education law, labor and employment disputes, mediation, guardianship and conservatorship, personal injury, coal-dust, talc, and other occupational or product claims. Blaydes earned a J.D. and an M.A. from West Virginia University and a B.A. from the University of Rochester. His practice also includes guardianship and conservatorship, personal injury, coal-dust and talc claims, and representation of workers affected by unsafe conditions. Jeff Blaydes has received an AV Preeminent rating and recognition in Best Lawyers for Education Law, Elder Law, and Employment Law – Individuals. His earlier work in the West Virginia Attorney General’s office and later service as Special Assistant Attorney General add public-sector experience to his private practice.
