Jeanne Bynum Hipes

Jeanne Bynum Hipes is the managing trial lawyer at Hipes Law LLC, where she represents corporate executives, professionals, and businesses in employment law, contract disputes, and complex commercial litigation. With over two decades of experience, he is known for her aggressive litigation style and strategic negotiation skills.

Jeanne earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1984, after graduating magna cum laude from the University of Maryland. She later received advanced training in negotiation at Harvard Law School and holds certificates in mediation and arbitration from Henning Mediation. He is admitted to practice in all Georgia courts, federal trial and appellate courts, and has appeared pro hac vice across the U.S.

Jeanne’s early legal work included insurance defense and high-stakes commercial litigation, securing multimillion-dollar results for her clients. In 2001, she was recruited as Assistant General Counsel for Lockheed Martin Corporation in New York, where she negotiated domestic and international business contracts and led strategic litigation efforts.

In 2003, Jeanne returned to Atlanta to launch her own firm, bringing extensive litigation experience and executive-level insight to her private practice. He now focuses on employment agreements, business torts, restrictive covenants, fiduciary duty claims, and high-level dispute resolution. She regularly represents executives seeking severance or navigating corporate transitions.

Jeanne Bynum Hipes is a registered neutral with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution and has received numerous recognitions, including “Woman of the Year for Law and Justice” in 2016. Through litigation, arbitration, or mediation, she continues to champion her clients’ rights with skill, experience, and passion for justice.
