About
Jeanine Anderson is an attorney and co-founder of Anderson Barkley, LLC in Denver, Colorado. Her work includes family law, employment disputes, appellate matters, and general civil litigation. She represents individuals and businesses involved in difficult legal disagreements, from divorce and parenting disputes to workplace and commercial cases. Her broad trial background allows her to assess a matter’s legal and practical issues and select an approach suited to the client’s circumstances.
Jeanine earned a B.S. in Economics and Political Science from Florida State University in 1991 and a J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law in 1995, graduating in the top third of her class. Her combination of legal, economic, and political studies supports analysis of contested financial issues, written appellate arguments, and the broader effects of litigation decisions on families and businesses.
Jeanine began practicing with Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck in Denver and became a shareholder in 2006. There she worked in litigation and appellate practice for public companies, startups, and individuals. She has tried cases in state and federal courts and before arbitration panels and handled appeals in several federal and state appellate courts. In 2015, she co-founded Anderson Barkley, expanding her focus on family, employment, appellate, and civil litigation matters.
Jeanine Anderson received Colorado Rising Star recognition in 2009 and family law distinctions in 2018 and 2019. Her community work has included chairing the board of Colorado Court Appointed Special Advocates and serving on nonprofit boards addressing child abuse prevention and related issues. She brings extensive litigation experience to disputes that require careful preparation, direct communication, and attention to clients’ goals both inside and outside the courtroom.
