Jean Pierre Espinoza

Jean Pierre Espinoza is the founding attorney of Espinoza Law Offices, P.A. in Lakeland, Florida, where he represents clients in immigration, business, and civil matters. A native of Lima, Perú, he brings a unique international perspective to his practice, combining deep knowledge of both civil and common law systems. Mr. Espinoza is dedicated to helping immigrants and families navigate complex legal processes with clarity and compassion.

Mr. Espinoza earned his LL.B. from Universidad de San Martin de Porres in Lima and an LL.M. in Comparative Law with a Certificate in International Business and Trade Law from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. He later obtained his J.D. from Stetson University College of Law. Licensed to practice in Florida since 2010, he also worked as a NAFTA Panel Assistant and research assistant for the University of Florida’s Center for Governmental Responsibility.

Before founding his firm, Mr. Espinoza clerked for leading law firms in Lima and gained experience in commercial law, intellectual property, bankruptcy, and civil litigation. In the United States, he focused his career on immigration law, clerking for immigration firms and interning with the Florida Immigrant Advocacy Center through a Florida Bar Foundation fellowship. He also founded and served as the first president of Stetson University’s Immigration Law Student Association.

Fluent in English and Spanish, Jean Pierre Espinoza regularly speaks at legal and community events throughout Central Florida. He is president of the Hispanic Bar Association for the Tenth Judicial Circuit and an active member of AILA, the Lakeland Bar Association, and the Catholic Lawyers’ Guild of Central Florida.
