Jason M. Tani

Jason M. Tani is a top attorney with years of experience in commercial, construction, trust, probate, and real estate litigation. He was admitted to the Hawaii Bar in 1988. He is also admitted to the U.S. District Court for the District of Hawaii, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and the Minnesota Bar.

Jason earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Oregon School of Law in 1988. He was an Associate Editor of the University of Oregon Law Review. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa, graduating in 1984.

He previously served as a law clerk to the Honorable Robert G. Klein, former Associate Justice of the Hawaiʻi Supreme Court, and as a Deputy Public Defender for the State of Hawaiʻi. Jason later joined Reinwald O’Connor & Playdon as an associate attorney, where he sharpened his litigation skills across a wide range of practice areas.
