Jared Casper

Jared R. Casper is an attorney with McMullin Injury Law who represents injured clients in Cedar City, St. George, and communities throughout Southern Utah. His practice focuses on personal injury matters involving motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, product liability, toxic exposure, and other negligence-based incidents. Casper helps clients evaluate claims, respond to insurance companies, document damages, and pursue compensation through negotiation, mediation, arbitration, or trial.

Casper earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Utah and a J.D. from Gonzaga University School of Law in Spokane, Washington. His legal education and financial background support his ability to analyze insurance coverage, damages, medical expenses, lost income, and the long-term economic effects of serious injuries. This training helps him explain complicated claims clearly and develop practical strategies suited to each client’s circumstances.

Casper has resolved hundreds of personal injury cases and has handled more than 30 jury and bench trials and over 100 arbitrations. He has taken cases to trial in Utah, Idaho, and Oregon, securing favorable verdicts for clients. Before representing injured people, he defended insurance companies and served as an in-house litigation attorney for Farmers Insurance. That experience gives him insight into how insurers investigate, value, negotiate, and defend accident claims.

Jared Casper is a member of the Utah Association for Justice and assists the Utah State Bar by grading bar examinations. He previously served as president of the Utah Defense Lawyers Association and as a member of the Executive Committee of the Utah State Bar’s Litigation Section. His background in both personal injury litigation and insurance allows him to anticipate insurance strategies, prepare cases thoroughly, and guide clients through the legal process with practical, informed advocacy.
