James R. Angell

James R. Angell is the managing partner of Kennedy Berkley in Salina, Kansas. His practice brings together agribusiness, trust and estate planning, and banking and commercial finance. James advises families, businesses, and financial institutions on legal matters affecting operations, ownership, and financing. His clients include large agricultural companies as well as family farms and ranches seeking to preserve their operations for future generations.

James earned a B.S. in business administration with an emphasis in accounting from the University of Kansas. He then received his J.D. from Washburn University School of Law and joined his current firm in 1999. He is admitted in Kansas, Missouri, and Colorado. His business and accounting studies complement legal work that frequently involves financial relationships, commercial transactions, and decisions about family assets.

James represents agricultural processors, biofuels and renewable energy producers, and companies serving the agricultural industry.
