James A. Lowe

James A. Lowe is the founding partner of Lowe Trial Lawyers in Cleveland, Ohio, where he focuses on automobile product liability, defective products, and catastrophic personal injury. He has tried cases in state and federal courts across the country, representing clients in complex matters involving vehicle safety and dangerous products. Lowe has obtained numerous million-dollar verdicts and more than $100 million in verdicts and settlements, using extensive trial experience to pursue accountability and meaningful compensation for seriously injured clients through careful preparation and focused advocacy.

Lowe graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and later earned his law degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. His legal education prepared him for legal analysis, trial advocacy, and the demands of complex civil litigation. Throughout his career, he has continued to develop deep knowledge of product liability and motor vehicle defect law through extensive courtroom work, writing, and professional study. His law school later named him Alumnus of the Year in 2012 and inducted him into its Hall of Fame in 2020.

Lowe has built a national trial practice centered on automobile product safety, defective products, and catastrophic injury claims. He has authored multiple texts and treatises and lectures nationally and internationally on product liability and motor vehicle defect cases. He is Board Certified in Civil Trial Advocacy by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He is also a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and a Master Bencher Emeritus of the American Inns of Court, reflecting his long involvement in trial advocacy and professional leadership.

He has served as President of the Ohio Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates, the William K.
