Jad J. Stepp is a Texas lawyer and shareholder at Stepp Law Firm PLLC with more than 40 years of experience in business matters, litigation, probate, property lawsuits and disputes, and estate planning law. He has handled aviation, admiralty, personal injury, wrongful death, guardianship, and inheritance matters. His practice includes trial work, mediation, and planning for individuals, families, and businesses. He is admitted in Texas and several federal courts, including the US Supreme Court.
Jad earned his B.A. from the University of Texas. He later earned his J.D. from St. Mary’s University School of Law. His legal education prepared him for a career involving trial advocacy, business matters, property disputes, probate, and complex civil cases.
Jad began his legal career as a law clerk for federal district judges Owen Cox and Hayden Head Jr. He later taught Admiralty Law and Accounting as an adjunct professor at Texas A&M University at Galveston. His litigation experience includes aviation, admiralty, personal injury, and wrongful death cases. He has expanded his practice to probate, guardianship, land disputes, estate planning, and legacy planning. He is a certified mediator and has mediated hundreds of cases involving plaintiffs and defendants.

He assists with wills, revocable living trusts, other trusts, lifetime gifting, life estates, ownership arrangements, and company agreements.
