Jacqueline M. Vigilante

Jacqueline M. Vigilante is the founder of The Vigilante Law Firm, P.C. in Mullica Hill, New Jersey, where she represents individuals and small businesses in employment and civil rights matters. Vigilante has practiced in New Jersey and Pennsylvania since 1988 and handles claims involving workplace discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, whistleblower protection, FMLA issues, employment agreements, and other employee rights concerns in state and federal courts.

Vigilante earned her J.D. from Temple University School of Law in 1988 and a B.A. in History and Political Science from Cabrini College in 1985. She began her legal career as Senior Opinion Clerk to Chief Justice Robert N.C. Nix, Jr. of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. That early appellate and judicial experience provided a strong foundation in legal analysis, writing, and litigation that continues to support her employment and civil rights practice.

Vigilante has nearly four decades of litigation experience representing clients in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. In addition to private practice, she serves as Township Solicitor for Elsinboro, Quinton, Pilesgrove, and Franklin Townships and as Municipal Prosecutor in the Elk and Pilesgrove Joint Municipal Courts. Her background also includes municipal legal service, giving her experience with public-sector issues alongside employment, civil rights, business, personal injury, real estate, and estate planning matters.

Jacqueline M. Vigilante is certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Civil Trial Attorney and has held that certification since 2015. She has served on the Board of Governors of the New Jersey Association for Justice and as co-chair of its Solo and Small Firm Committee. Vigilante is also active in employment-law and bar organizations and frequently lectures on ethics, professionalism, small-firm practice, employment law, and civil rights. Her experience combines courtroom advocacy, municipal service, and practical guidance for employees and businesses.
