Justin M. Jacobson

Justin M. Jacobson is an entertainment, intellectual property, and esports attorney who has operated his own New York City law office since 2022. He advises musicians, content creators, professional gamers, athletes, record labels, game developers, esports organizations, and related businesses. His practice covers contracts, copyrights, trademarks, licensing, and business questions that arise when creative work, digital platforms, and commercial relationships overlap.

Jacobson earned a J.D. from Touro Law Center in 2011 and a B.A. in Sociology from The George Washington University. At Touro, he participated in the law review and served twice as president of the Arts, Entertainment, and Sports Law Society. Earlier internships at the U.S. Copyright Office, ASCAP, Tommy Boy Entertainment, and MTV gave him exposure to legal and business issues affecting creative industries.
