Jacob D. Geller is a seasoned family and immigration attorney and a founding partner at Geller Benjamin LLP. With more than 15 years in immigration law and over a decade in family law, he brings extensive experience and strategic insight to every case. His bilingual skills and client-focused approach distinguish him across Massachusetts.
Mr. Geller earned his Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School with a concentration in international law, following a Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Vermont. He also lived in Ecuador for two years, where he taught English and became fluent in Spanish. During law school, he furthered his cultural and legal education through a legal internship in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Mr. Geller has successfully represented clients in complex divorce and custody matters, removal defense, green card adjustments, and business immigration cases. He practiced under one of Boston’s most esteemed immigration lawyers and now handles both trial work and out-of-court resolutions for clients navigating family and immigration challenges.
In 2024, Kids In Need of Defense (KIND) recognized Mr. Geller as the Pro Bono Advocate of the Year, honoring his commitment to vulnerable immigrant children. He continues to represent clients with compassion and rigor, offering thoughtful, multilingual advocacy tailored to each client’s circumstances.
Licensed to practice in Massachusetts, New York, and several federal courts, Mr. Geller is also an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the American Bar Association. He co-founded Geller Benjamin LLP in 2022 to deliver more personalized, affordable legal services.
