Spencer began gaining legal experience early on, clerking at a family law and civil litigation firm while still in law school. He also served as a student ambassador, president of the Animal Law Society, and vice magister of Phi Delta Phi legal honors fraternity. As a student attorney at the Family Law Clinic, he represented numerous clients, further refining his courtroom and advocacy skills.
Spencer was also selected to act as a Judicial Reform Consultant in Mongolia, advising the legislature and collaborating with officials from the Supreme Court and Ministry departments.
