Iris S. Rogatinsky is a Florida bankruptcy lawyer and of counsel at Assouline & Berlowe, P.A., whose practice focuses on creditors’ rights, bankruptcy litigation, commercial disputes, and appellate matters. She represents clients in complex bankruptcy proceedings and related business litigation. Her experience includes Chapter 11 reorganizations, out-of-court restructurings, creditor representation, and disputes involving financially distressed businesses. Iris earned a B.A. in English, summa cum laude, from Yeshiva University – Stern College for Women. She later received her J.D., with honors, from the University of Florida Fredric G. Levin College of Law. During law school, she served as Senior Notes and Comments Editor for the Florida Law Review. Her academic work developed a strong foundation in legal research, writing, and analysis.

Iris began her legal career in the Restructuring Department at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP in Miami. She represented debtors, creditors, and trustees in complex Chapter 11 cases and restructurings. She later worked as Of Counsel on business and bankruptcy litigation and appeals. From 2009 through 2023, she taught legal research and writing at St. Thomas University School of Law. Her teaching covered subjects including torts, employment law, and constitutional law.

Iris S. Rogatinsky continues to handle creditors’ rights and bankruptcy litigation from a Miami-based practice. Her background combines restructuring work, commercial litigation, appellate matters, and extensive legal writing instruction. She has published articles addressing bankruptcy issues and has contributed to professional legal education. Her experience spans private practice, academic teaching, complex bankruptcy proceedings, and litigation involving creditor and debtor interests.
