Ira H. Weinstock is a seasoned labor and employment lawyer with more than four decades of experience representing workers, employees, and labor organizations. He founded his law practice, Ira H. Weinstock, P.C., after years of public and private legal service and has built a reputation for vigorous advocacy in workers’ compensation, employment law, and labor relations matters. His work focuses on protecting employee rights and guiding unions through complex legal challenges.
Mr. Weinstock completed his undergraduate education at Rider College and earned his J.D. from the Dickinson School of Law in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. While in law school, he served on the Board of Editors of the Dickinson Law Review, reflecting early academic excellence and leadership in legal scholarship. His education provided a strong foundation in labor law, legal writing, and litigation.
Mr. Weinstock began his legal career as a Field Attorney for the National Labor Relations Board in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he handled federal labor matters from 1965 to 1967 following law school. He later established his own practice and has since represented employees and labor organizations in cases involving workers’ compensation, unemployment compensation, employment discrimination, employee benefits, collective bargaining, arbitration, and National Labor Relations Board proceedings. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, multiple federal courts, and Pennsylvania state courts.
Ira H. Weinstock has always helped injured and wronged workers secure benefits, defend their rights, and navigate disputes with employers and insurers. He has also advised labor unions during negotiations and litigation, ensuring compliance with labor laws while protecting member interests. In addition to client advocacy, he has contributed to legal education as a lecturer and as an Assistant Editor of Developing Labor Law for over 30 years.
