Heather Gregorio is a dedicated civil rights attorney at Wang Hecker LLP, where she focuses on representing individuals in discrimination, housing, and sexual abuse cases. Since joining the firm in 2017, Heather has advocated for clients facing race, gender, and disability discrimination, sexual assault, and harassment, as well as those wrongfully denied housing due to unfair policies and practices.

Ms. Gregorio earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from New York University School of Law in 2015. While at NYU, she was a Notes Editor for the Law Review, a Fellow at the Center on the Administration of Criminal Law, and President of the Anti-Trafficking Advocacy Coalition. She also received multiple academic honors, including the Order of the Coif and the George P. Foulk Memorial Award. She holds a B.A. from Yale University (2008).

Before joining the firm, Ms. Gregorio clerked for Judge Pierre N. Leval on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and Judge Pamela K. Chen on the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York. She also gained experience through fellowships and internships at the U.S. Department of State, the U.S. Attorney’s Office, and the Legal Aid Society.

Ms. Gregorio’s litigation record includes Zervos v. Trump, a defamation case where she prevailed at every stage of litigation. She has represented dozens of clients who were victims of housing discrimination, including cases involving testing investigations by the Fair Housing Justice Center. She has also helped numerous survivors of sexual abuse and harassment obtain justice and secure settlements.

Ms. Gregorio is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
