Hayley Harrison

Hayley Harrison is a partner at Wernick Law, PLLC in Boca Raton, Florida. She handles bankruptcy litigation, assignments for the benefit of creditors, out-of-court workouts, fiduciary representation, and insolvency litigation. Harrison represents bankruptcy trustees, debtors, secured and unsecured creditors, creditors’ committees, and fiduciaries in matters involving Chapter 7, Chapter 11, Chapter 13, and state court assignment proceedings.

Harrison earned her J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2013, graduating cum laude. She also received a B.S. in public relations and business from the University of Texas at Austin in 2010. Her education supports her ability to analyze complex financial disputes, evaluate recovery options, and guide clients through bankruptcy and insolvency matters that require careful strategy and practical judgment.

Harrison advises clients on the administration of Chapter 7 debtor cases, including analysis of recovery avenues, sales of bankruptcy estate assets, avoidance actions, and related litigation claims. Her experience also includes representing fiduciaries, most often assignees in state court assignments for the benefit of creditors. Through this work, she helps clients evaluate rights, manage disputes, and navigate bankruptcy and out-of-court proceedings.

Hayley Harrison served as president of the Bankruptcy Bar Association for the Southern District of Florida for 2021-2022.
