Harry B. Center, II

Harry B. Center, II is managing partner at Woodman Edmands in Biddeford, Maine. His practice includes personal injury, civil litigation, criminal defense, and municipal law. Center earned a B.A. from Towson University in 1984 and a J.D. from the University of Maine School of Law in 1987. He began litigation work while in law school as a student prosecutor with the York County District Attorney’s Office. He was admitted to the Maine courts and federal district court in 1987, later gaining admissions to the First Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.

He served as City Solicitor for Biddeford from 1992 to 2004 and later worked as a senior trial attorney for OneBeacon Insurance Company, defending insured parties throughout Maine and in federal court. After joining Woodman Edmands in 2008, he developed a personal injury practice informed by insurance defense experience. He has obtained multiple six-figure civil jury verdicts and was confirmed as Biddeford’s City Attorney in 2022.
