Hannah McKinney Kingrey has built a respected legal career by guiding individuals through divorce, custody, post-decree, and probate matters with clarity and determination. Hannah completed her B.A. in Political Science and Philosophy at Loyola University Chicago in 2012 before earning her J.D. from The John Marshall Law School in May 2015. Her academic experience included extensive moot court involvement, serving as a Teaching Assistant, and competing as an Octofinalist in a national child welfare and adoption competition.

Hannah developed strong litigation skills while working for the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office during law school, where she drafted numerous appellate briefs and tried more than twenty bench trials under Illinois Supreme Court Rule 711. These early responsibilities strengthened her ability to analyze complex issues and advocate confidently in challenging court settings.

Hannah later expanded her experience in private practice, handling a wide range of family-related matters, including divorce, parenting disputes, post-decree actions, and related legal conflicts. She is known for assessing each situation carefully, aiming to resolve disputes efficiently while still preparing thoroughly for litigation when court involvement becomes necessary.

Hannah also works in probate and estate-related matters, helping clients navigate processes that often involve sensitive family circumstances. Her approach emphasizes clarity and reassurance, ensuring clients understand their options as she supports them through essential decisions involving estates, real property issues, and long-term planning needs.
