Gregory S. Metzger

Gregory S. Metzger is Of Counsel in Reminger’s Louisville office, where he advises clients on employment practices, civil rights defense, business and commercial litigation, and healthcare matters. His work includes employment law disputes, contract issues, licensing and regulatory questions, real estate and zoning concerns, and risk management. He brings an in-house perspective to matters that require coordination between legal requirements, business operations, employee relations, and organizational decision-making.

Metzger earned a J.D. from the University of Kentucky, College of Law in 1994. He previously received a B.A. in Economics, cum laude, from Bellarmine University in 1991. His legal and economics background supports a practical approach to employment, business, and regulatory matters. He is admitted in Kentucky and West Virginia, giving him experience across multiple jurisdictions while advising businesses and organizations on disputes and compliance-related concerns.

Metzger previously served as Operations Counsel for Atria Senior Living Group and Res-Care, working with operations spanning more than twenty-eight states. In those roles, he addressed labor and employment matters, EEOC and state or local equal-employment issues, and internal policies. He developed human-resources procedures and training while advising management on operational risks. That experience informs his defense of employers and businesses in litigation and other workplace-related matters.
