Gregory Orso

Gregory Orso is an attorney and the founder of Orso Law, P.A., which he opened in April 2009. His practice focuses only on civil litigation. He serves clients in Southern Maine and New Hampshire through family law, municipal law, real estate litigation, and other dispute-related legal services for local needs matters.

Gregory earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from Colgate University in 1993. He entered the University of Maine School of Law in 1994 and received his J.D. in 1997. After graduation, he passed the bar exams for Maine and New Hampshire and began his legal career in York.

Gregory first worked as a law clerk for Bregman, Berbert, and Schwartz in Bethesda, Maryland. After law school, he joined Erwin, Ott, Clark, and Campbell of York, Maine. Within four years, he became a partner at that firm, which later became Erwin, Ott, Clark, Orso, and Campbell.

Gregory is a member of the York County Bar Association, Maine State Bar Association, New Hampshire Bar Association, Maine Trial Lawyers Association, and New Hampshire Trial Lawyers Association. He also served as president of the York County Bar Association from 2020 to 2022, showing leadership within the regional legal community.

Gregory has also supported public service in York. He served on the town budget committee from 2001 to 2008 and acted as chairman in 2007 and 2008. He was one of the founders of the Jump Start program, which helped first-time juvenile offenders through practical classes focused on responsibility skills.
