Before becoming a lawyer, Gregory worked as a DNA analyst for the Armed Forces DNA Identification Laboratory, earning a Noble Eagle Award for helping identify victims of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.

He serves on the Criminal Justice Act Lead Panel for the federal Eastern District Court of Missouri, representing clients in serious federal matters.
