Glenn E. Cohen

Glenn E. Cohen is a veteran trial attorney with nearly 40 years of experience representing victims of negligence. He is one of the few Jacksonville lawyers with a record of trying medical malpractice cases and has devoted his career to helping injured individuals and their families pursue justice and compensation.

Glenn began his academic journey at Georgetown University, School of Foreign Service, where he earned a B.S. in International Relations in 1971. He then earned his J.D. from the University of Florida, School of Law in 1974. That same year, he was admitted to the Florida Bar and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.

Glenn started his legal career on the side of insurance companies before shifting his focus to representing those harmed by others’ negligence. He co-founded his own law firm and became known for securing some of the highest personal injury and medical malpractice verdicts and settlements in Northeast Florida, with over 30 cases exceeding $1 million in value.

Glenn has handled thousands of cases, from auto accidents to wrongful death. His wide-ranging experience includes serving as personal counsel to one of the world’s most respected athletes. His efforts extend beyond the courtroom—he co-founded “Birdies for the Brave” with golfer Phil Mickelson, a charity that has raised over $300 million for wounded combat veterans.
