Gilland Chenault is a highly experienced Texas attorney focused on probate, fiduciary litigation, trust matters, and estate administration. Mr. Chenault graduated from Baylor University School of Law and received his B.A. in History, magna cum laude, from Texas Tech University. Mr. Chenault has helped clients throughout his legal career navigate some of the most challenging issues families face during probate and estate disputes. He has represented parties in both contested and uncontested matters and has earned the courts’ trust through his service in multiple appointed roles. These appointments have included Court-appointed Trustee, Court-appointed Guardian of the Person and Estate, Receiver in matters involving real property, and Administrator in large and contested estates. His ability to guide clients through lawsuits, estate disputes, and trust conflicts has made him a dependable resource for individuals seeking clarity and resolution.

Gilland Chenault has contributed extensively to the Texas probate system beyond his work with individual clients. He plays the role of an Attorney and Guardian Ad Litem at the Denton County Probate Court and has held leadership positions with the Denton Bar Association. He has also acted as a Special Commissioner in Eminent Domain hearings. His career also includes service in charitable planned giving and institutional development for Texas Woman’s University, further expanding his experience in trusts, property, and estate-related matters.
