Gavin K. Doi

Gavin K. Doi is a founding partner of Doi/Luke, Islandlawyers in Honolulu, Hawaii, whose practice is devoted to family law. He represents clients in divorce, paternity, child custody and support, premarital and postmarital agreements, restraining order matters, and other domestic relations disputes. His practice includes litigation, mediation, and negotiation. He works with families across Oahu and Hawaii on legal issues that can affect parenting, finances, safety, property, and the restructuring of family relationships.

Doi earned a J.D. from the University of Denver College of Law in 1995 and a B.A. in political science from Reed College in 1990. His education provides a foundation for legal analysis, negotiation, writing, and courtroom advocacy in family law. He has practiced in Hawaii since 1995 and has developed decades of experience with the statutes and court procedures governing domestic relations matters.

Doi has a professional background that includes work with the Child Support Enforcement Agency and service through an AmeriCorps domestic violence clinic.
