About
G. Charles “Chuck” Bordis is a partner at Bordis Danos Pierce who represents clients in Ocean Springs and across Mississippi. His practice focuses on Chancery Court matters, general civil litigation, real estate disputes, personal injury claims, and insurance disputes. Chuck assists individuals, families, property owners, and other clients with legal issues involving divorce, custody, support, estates, property rights, automobile negligence, and premises liability.
Chuck earned a Bachelor of Arts from Nicholls State University and a Juris Doctor from Mississippi College School of Law. His legal education provided a foundation in civil procedure, property law, family law, and dispute resolution. That training, combined with decades of courtroom and judicial experience, supports his ability to evaluate complicated facts, identify practical options, and guide clients through matters involving significant financial, personal, or property interests.
Over more than three decades, Chuck has handled divorce, child custody, alimony, equitable distribution, guardianships, conservatorships, will contests, judicial foreclosures, easements, boundary disputes, school board appeals, and other Chancery Court proceedings. He has also managed real estate transactions, personal injury actions, insurance disputes, and appeals before the Mississippi Court of Appeals and Mississippi Supreme Court. His public service includes work as a Chancery Court Master, Family Master, and Chancery Court Judge for Mississippi’s Sixteenth Judicial District.
G. Charles “Chuck” Bordis brings substantial judicial and private-practice experience to mediation, arbitration, litigation, and client counseling. After leaving the bench, Chuck returned to private practice and has frequently served as a neutral in contract disputes, divorces, and other matters requiring alternative dispute resolution. His background allows him to understand courtroom expectations, assess competing positions, and help clients pursue practical solutions. He is also active in the Jackson County Bar Association and the Mississippi Bar Association.
