He later continued in the Naval Reserve and retired as a captain in 2004.

Frank Manfredi also serves as a judge on the Mohegan Gaming Disputes Court and has worked as a court-appointed attorney trial referee, fact-finder, and arbitrator. His public service includes leadership with the Norwich Commission on the City Plan and volunteer work with the Yantic Fire Engine Company.
