Feras Mousilli is a leading intellectual property lawyer and managing partner at Lloyd & Mousilli, where he advises startups, entrepreneurs, and global corporations. With over two decades of experience, he guides clients through complex IP, patent, and trademark strategies and provides legal insight into technology transactions and regulatory risk.
Feras holds a J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law. He also earned an M.S.E. in Computer Science Engineering and a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering and Computer Science, both from Johns Hopkins University. His dual expertise in technology and law gives him an edge in representing clients in the innovation economy.
Before co-founding the firm, Feras served as Senior Corporate Counsel at Apple and Dell and previously practiced IP litigation at DLA Piper. He has been a Registered U.S. Patent Attorney for over 15 years, managing the enforcement and prosecution of patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets.
Feras is also an educator and legal thought leader, having served as a Guest Lecturer at the University of Texas School of Law and as faculty at national legal conferences. He has authored numerous articles and frequently speaks on topics like IP protection, social media risks, and corporate strategy.
Feras Mousilli is licensed in Texas and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, as well as multiple federal districts. He has received the Judge Suzanne Covington Pro Bono Award and was recognized as a Texas Rising Star by Texas Monthly in 2010.
