Eva Clement

Eva Clement is an experienced Asheville attorney and the founder of Clement Law Firm, PLLC. Her legal career reflects a strong commitment to public service, client advocacy, and practical problem-solving. Throughout her career, she has represented individuals across a wide range of legal matters, consistently focusing on access to justice and clear communication. Eva is known for approaching legal issues with care and diligence, and with a deep understanding of how legal outcomes affect people’s lives. Her practice at Clement Law Firm, PLLC, focuses on real estate law.

Eva graduated from the NC School of Science and Math before earning her B.A., with honors, from Guilford College. She later completed her J.D., cum laude, from North Carolina Central University. While at law school, she got hands-on experience through legal internships and extensive pro bono involvement, building a strong foundation in client advocacy and litigation.

Eva served as a Social Insurance Specialist with the Social Security Administration in Asheville before entering private practice. In that role, she assisted thousands of individuals and conducted training for hospitals, state agencies, and public service organizations across Western North Carolina. Her work earned multiple Recognition of Contribution commendations from the Department of Health and Human Services. During law school, she also helped co-found the Butner Legal Reentry Assistance Project, a pro bono initiative focused on reducing recidivism, and participated in elder law and domestic violence legal aid programs.

Eva Clement worked as a litigator with Thomas P. Peter II & Associates in Maine after earning her J.D. Her practice included criminal defense, family law, civil litigation, probate, business law, and administrative matters. She also volunteered with the Maine Volunteer Lawyers Project. Eva later returned to Asheville to establish her own law firm, where she continues to provide dedicated legal services while remaining active in professional and community-based legal education and advocacy efforts.
