Erik A. Perez

Erik A. Perez is a shareholder and co-founder of Perez Mayoral, P.A. He focuses his practice on homeowners and condominium association disputes as well as complex business litigation. His work centers on representing homeowners, property owners, businesses, and investors in challenging legal disputes.

Erik earned his Juris Doctor with honors from the University of Miami School of Law. He also earned a bachelor’s degree in Business, magna cum laude, from Florida International University, thereby developing a strong academic foundation for his legal and business-focused practice.

Erik leads the firm’s Homeowners and Condominium Association Litigation Practice Group. In this role, he represents homeowners and unit owners in disputes with associations, including matters involving covenant enforcement, improper assessments, property damage claims, and selective enforcement issues.

Erik also leads the firm’s Business Litigation Practice Group. His practice includes representing individuals and companies in commercial disputes, particularly matters involving real estate developers, contractors, small businesses, and property owners in complex litigation.

Before co-founding Perez Mayoral, P.A., Erik gained experience at several prominent Florida law firms. During that time, he represented large national insurance carriers and defended multimillion-dollar liability claims, developing litigation skills that support his current advocacy work.

Erik frequently appears on local television networks, including CBS, NBC, and Spectrum News, to discuss condominium and association law matters. He has also been featured in the Daily Business Review for his insights on legal issues affecting homeowners and associations.

Erik A. Perez is admitted to practice law in Florida and appears in both federal and state courts. He is also a member of the Miami-Dade County Trial Lawyers Association, the Miami-Dade County Bar Association, the Cuban American Bar Association, and the Hispanic American National Bar Association.
