Erich C. Straub

Erich C. Straub is the founder and managing partner of Straub Immigration, LLC, based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Practicing since 1994, he focuses exclusively on immigration law, with particular experience in fiancé and marriage visas, family-based immigration, U.S. citizenship, asylum, and deportation defense. His personalized, results-driven approach has made him a trusted legal advocate for immigrants across the country. Erich is frequently called upon for complex cases where high-stakes outcomes demand deep knowledge of evolving immigration law and procedure.

Erich earned his J.D. from Marquette University Law School in 1994 and holds a B.A. from the University of Notre Dame, earned in 1990.

Erich’s outstanding legal work has earned him long-standing recognition in Best Lawyers in America since 2006 and the title of “Lawyer of the Year” for Milwaukee in 2016 and 2018. He was also selected for Super Lawyers from 2009 through 2014. He founded the AILA Chicago Courtroom Skills Workshop and is a faculty member at the Trial Advocacy College in Kansas City.
