Erica Sattler

Erica Sattler is a highly skilled trial attorney with decades of experience in personal injury and medical malpractice litigation. Ms. Sattler earned her J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law and her B.A. from Hofstra University. These degrees laid the foundation for her deep understanding of both law and the complex medical issues involved in injury cases.

Ms. Sattler began her career at Martin Clearwater & Bell, one of New York’s leading medical malpractice defense firms, after law school. There, she defended doctors, hospitals, and medical professionals. This experience gave her valuable insight into how defense teams operate. She later shifted to plaintiff-side practice, joining the well-known firm Dinkes & Morelli (later Morelli Ratner). She represented injured clients in all stages of litigation, building her reputation as a strong advocate who prepares every case with care and detail.

Erica Sattler expanded her work by serving as trial counsel for several personal injury firms in the early 2000s. She handled medical malpractice and automobile accident trials at Ebanks & Sattler and litigated similar cases for Harmon, Linder & Rogowsky. Over her career, she has tried well over 100 cases, many to verdict, and secured numerous multi-million-dollar results for her clients. Her cross-examinations are known for being sharp and effective, and she regularly works with top experts to strengthen her cases. Today, Ms. Sattler also leads the firm’s e-cigarette litigation, pursuing claims against companies like JUUL and Altria for marketing harmful products to young people. She continues to fight for clients in state and federal courts and is admitted in New York, the Southern and Eastern Districts, and the United States Supreme Court.
