Eric S. Adams is a seasoned trial attorney with nearly 30 years of experience in commercial litigation and related disputes. His practice covers complex business conflicts, trust and estate litigation, real estate matters, construction cases, and intellectual property disputes. He is known for building practical strategies that support efficient, goal-focused results.

Eric earned a B.B.A. in Economics & Spanish from Marshall University in 1992 and a J.D., cum laude, from Florida State University in 1996. He also studied at the University of Oxford (Christ Church), England, in 1990 and at the University of Valencia, Spain, in 1991.

Eric represents businesses in high-stakes commercial disputes involving contracts, insurance issues, shareholder conflicts, business torts, fraud claims, and restrictive covenant matters. His background as an accountant at Coopers & Lybrand gave him added insight into financial analysis and business operations, helping him approach litigation with strong commercial judgment.

Eric also maintains a substantial trusts and estates litigation practice across Florida. He represents trustees, beneficiaries, personal representatives, and other interested parties in estate, trust, probate, and guardianship disputes. His work includes will contests, undue influence claims, fiduciary duty allegations, elective share disputes, and contested guardianship matters.

Eric handles real estate and eminent domain litigation for property owners, developers, and builders. He works on contract disputes, boundary and easement issues, inverse condemnation claims, and unlawful exaction matters. He also represents clients in construction disputes involving design defects, infrastructure problems, groundwater issues, and other project-related conflicts.

Eric has also developed a strong intellectual property litigation practice. He represents clients in copyright, trademark, patent, and trade secret disputes, along with matters involving licensing, branding, software, and ownership rights.
