Eric earned his B.A. from the University of Michigan before receiving his J.D., magna cum laude, from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. While studying law, he continued working for a small Washtenaw County practice, gaining valuable experience in family law and alternative dispute resolution. His education and early professional training strengthened his ability to analyze legal issues, communicate clearly, negotiate effectively, and guide clients with confidence through unfamiliar court procedures.

Eric began his career working for a small firm in Washtenaw County, where he developed an interest in helping families manage challenging transitions. After law school, he joined an estate planning practice and later opened his own office, concentrating on family law and estate planning. These experiences broadened his understanding of family finances, future planning, and conflict resolution, which now informs his work in complex domestic relations matters throughout Michigan.

Eric Lore is licensed in Michigan and belongs to the State Bar of Michigan, the Ingham County Bar Association, and the Washtenaw County Bar Association. He has contributed to the Thomas M. Cooley Law School 60+ Estate Planning Clinic and presented on marital asset valuation for the Institute of Continuing Legal Education.
