Eric earned his Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Alabama, his Juris Doctor from the Jones School of Law and Faulkner University, and his Legum Magistar (Master of Laws) from the Thomas Jefferson School of Law. These academic achievements built a strong legal foundation for his career.
Eric began his legal career as an associate attorney, where he worked on domestic relations, criminal matters, and civil litigation cases. Eric served as a district court judge after being elected in 1998, and he also handled family court and circuit court duties by special appointment.
