Emily Joyce Phillips is the founding attorney of Miami Family Law Group, PLLC, where she focuses her practice on divorce and family law matters. She represents clients in cases involving child custody, alimony, modifications, paternity, guardianship, and related family law disputes. With extensive experience in guiding individuals and families through complex and emotional situations, she is committed to providing compassionate and effective advocacy.
Emily earned her B.A. in Finance from Miami University in 1999 and went on to obtain her J.D. from Case Western Reserve University in 2002. She is admitted to practice law in Florida and before the United States District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida. Her strong academic foundation and practical experience allow her to skillfully navigate both trial and negotiation settings.
In addition to her legal practice, Emily has served as a Guardian Ad Litem in numerous cases, where she represented the best interests of children in family disputes. She is a member of The Florida Bar, the Dade County Bar Association, and serves as a Board Member for Kidside, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting families in divorce and paternity proceedings. Her active role in professional and community organizations reflects her commitment to service and advocacy.
