Emalee V. Larson-Sudenga

Emalee V. Larson-Sudenga is a shareholder at Woods Fuller in Sioux Falls whose practice focuses on real estate and business and corporate transactions. Emalee earned a B.S. in Entrepreneurial Management from the University of Minnesota and a J.D. from the University of South Dakota Knudson School of Law, graduating magna cum laude with Sterling Honors in 2024. She also earned a Master of Business Administration. In law school, she served as a South Dakota Law Review staff writer, joined the Alternative Dispute Resolution Board, and worked as a graduate assistant in legal writing and analysis.

After graduation, Emalee clerked for Chief Justice Steven R. Jensen of the South Dakota Supreme Court before joining Woods Fuller. Her clerkship strengthened her experience with legal research, judicial decision-making, and written analysis. She now applies that background to real estate and business transactions, where clients may need help evaluating ownership issues, contract terms, transaction structure, and the legal steps required to complete business or property objectives.
