About

Elizabeth Quinn is a shareholder at Trow & Rahal, P.C. in Bethesda, Maryland. She works on employment-based and family-based immigration matters for individuals and businesses, drawing on experience in immigration law since 1993. Her practice includes EB-1 extraordinary ability petitions, EB-2 national interest waivers, and O-1 visa petitions. She also advises international companies and individuals on transfers to the United States and related visa questions.

Elizabeth earned a B.A. in Government, with a minor in French, from the College of William & Mary. She later received her J.D. from The George Washington University Law School. Her education and longstanding immigration practice support her work with complicated visa categories and documentary requirements. She draws on that background when explaining legal options to employers, international professionals, and families seeking a clearer path through the U.S. immigration system.

Elizabeth advises on L and E visas for international business transfers and provides immigration guidance to J-1 visa holders. She also assists clients with petitions based on extraordinary ability and national interest, in addition to family immigration matters. She joined Trow & Rahal as a shareholder in 2021. Her professional work has included presentations and publications about immigration law, with speaking engagements in both the United States and France.

Elizabeth Quinn has received recognition in The Best Lawyers in America and Who’s Who Legal for her immigration work. She belongs to the American Immigration Lawyers Association, previously served on its State Department Liaison Committee from 2009 to 2011, and is a member of its Rome District Chapter. She has also lectured on immigration law for the District of Columbia Bar’s continuing legal education program, sharing practical information with other legal professionals.
