Elisabeth “Lisa” Gentile is a seasoned trial attorney with nearly three decades of litigation experience. Based in Columbus, Ohio, she has established herself as a trusted advocate in high-stakes cases across multiple industries. She focuses her practice on tort and catastrophic loss, healthcare law, government law, professional liability, and trial advocacy. Lisa Gentile earned her J.D. from Capital University Law School in 1996, after completing coursework at Dickinson School of Law in 1994. She also holds a B.A. from The Ohio State University. She is admitted to practice in Ohio, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and the U.S. District Courts for both the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio. Her education and Bar admissions provide a strong foundation for her wide-ranging litigation practice, which spans local and national jurisdictions.
Gentile’s career includes the defense of nearly 60 jury trials to verdict, involving claims of wrongful death, mass torts, fire losses, defamation, and professional liability. She represents clients in various sectors, including healthcare, transportation, retail, hospitality, and manufacturing. She also serves as Chair of the Midwest Tort and Retail, Hospitality and Beverage practice teams and contributes to interdisciplinary groups focused on aging services, long-term care, and sexual misconduct cases. Her trial strategies are often guided by the use of mock trials, jury research, and focus groups, ensuring clients are well-prepared for courtroom outcomes.
