Edward Schoeler

Edward Schoeler is a criminal defense attorney with Brandon White Law who represents clients facing a wide range of criminal charges. A former prosecutor, he has handled DUI, drug, property, violent felony, vehicle theft, and other criminal matters. His defense work draws on years inside multiple prosecuting agencies, giving him direct familiarity with charging decisions, trial preparation, forensic evidence, plea negotiations, and the strategies used by the government in criminal cases.

Edward completed both his undergraduate studies and law school at the University of Arizona. After graduation, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable Howard Fell, where he developed legal writing skills and observed trial advocacy from the court’s perspective. His education and clerkship provided a foundation in research, procedure, and courtroom practice that he later expanded through extensive prosecutorial and criminal defense experience.

Edward worked in the Pima County Attorney’s Office, the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office, and the Scottsdale City Prosecutor’s Office. His assignments included misdemeanor prosecution, DUI trials, the Vehicle Theft Task Force, and the Gang Bureau, where he handled drug, property, and violent felony cases. He received advanced training in forensic science, digital evidence, trial advocacy, victims’ rights, complex case management, and DUI science involving alcohol and marijuana.

Edward Schoeler has received recognition including Property Crimes Prosecutor of the Year and MADD DUI Prosecutor of the Year. He is also a veteran of the US Navy and Naval Reserve and has worked with the East Valley Regional Veterans Court. His current criminal defense practice uses the trial, investigative, and prosecutorial experience developed across thousands of cases to protect client rights and challenge criminal allegations.
