Mr. Mitnick earned his Bachelor of Arts from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1981 and his Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School in 1984. He was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar and the United States District Court in 1985. His legal education and early career laid a strong foundation for his focus on employment law, administrative proceedings, and dispute resolution at both the state and federal levels.
Mr. Mitnick served as a Hearing Officer for the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination, where he adjudicated employment discrimination claims and authored decisions regularly published in the Massachusetts Discrimination Law Reporter and Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly. He has also worked as a legal trainer with Seyfarth Shaw at Work, practiced labor and employment law at Sheridan & Sheridan, LLP, and served as City Solicitor for the City of Holyoke, Massachusetts.
