Stowell earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Utah State University in 1980. Stowell started legal practice after working for ten years as a licensed Series 7 stockbroker and member of the New York Stock Exchange. After earning his J.D., he gained experience at an insurance defense firm and then at a firm focused on municipal tort liability and white-collar defense. In 1996, he founded his law firm. He later helped build Stowell Crayk, PLLC, and continued to serve clients across a wide range of legal matters in Utah.
