Destiny Aigbe

Destiny Aigbe is the principal of his securities and business law practice and focuses on securities, finance, and business transactions. He advises public and private companies, broker-dealers, investment banking firms, entrepreneurs, issuers, underwriters, and placement agents. His practice includes public and private securities offerings, secondary market transactions, venture and private equity investments, broker-dealer matters, investment fraud disputes, mergers and acquisitions, and transactions for companies seeking growth capital.

Destiny earned a B.S. in Finance with honors from the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business and graduated from Vanderbilt University Law School, where he focused on the Law of Finance and Mergers & Acquisitions and earned a certificate in Law and Business. His business and legal education supports detailed work involving corporate finance, securities regulation, investment structures, transaction terms, and the commercial objectives of emerging and established companies.

Destiny has experience with reverse mergers, initial public offerings, secondary offerings, private placements, debt offerings, private investments in public equity, and equity crowdsourcing. Before and during his legal career, he worked in investment banking and with US government agencies. His background includes Bank of America’s Investment Banking Division, the US Department of State, the National Institutes of Health, and the US Department of Defense, including work involving contracts and innovation-focused companies.
