Derek J Hills

Derek J. Hills is an attorney with Frieberg, Nelson & Ask, LLP, based in the firm’s Beresford, South Dakota, office. As an undergraduate, he interned with the South Dakota Legislative Research Council during the state legislative session. In law school, he participated in the Works Clinic, helping provide divorce and custody assistance to low-income couples and families. He also interned with the South Dakota Federal Public Defender’s Office on criminal cases ranging from misdemeanors to felonies and with a private law firm in Mankato, Minnesota.
