David Valetutto

David Valetutto is a Houston-based personal injury trial lawyer with more than three decades of courtroom experience. He represents individuals harmed by negligent and unsafe conduct. Known for strong advocacy and clear communication, his practice focuses on protecting client rights through aggressive preparation and effective trial representation across Texas.

David earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Baylor University in 1989. He later earned his Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law in 1993, where he was part of the school’s nationally recognized advocacy program that emphasized trial skills, public speaking, and the development of courtroom strategy.

Early in his legal career, David clerked for and trained under leading personal injury lawyers in Texas. That experience shaped his approach to trial advocacy. Since law school, he has spent over 30 years trying cases to verdict in state and federal courts throughout Texas.

David handles serious injury cases involving 18 wheeler crashes, on the job accidents, construction site incidents, industrial accidents, and premises defect claims. His practice centers on detailed case preparation and presenting clear arguments that hold responsible parties accountable for unsafe decisions and harmful actions.

David is admitted to practice in the State of Texas and multiple federal courts, including Texas district courts and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He is an active member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and the Houston Trial Lawyers Association.
