David earned his undergraduate degree from Boston University, receiving a B.A. Magna Cum Laude with Degree with Distinction. He later completed his legal education at Emory University School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor and developed a strong foundation in injury law, with a focus on client advocacy.

While clerking at other firms, David recognized the need for a different kind of injury practice. He envisioned a firm built around respect, accessibility, and personalized care. This vision led him to establish Montlick in 1984, prioritizing high-quality legal help and meaningful community involvement through consistent service standards.

David’s commitment to service has earned significant recognition from public and private organizations. He received the Association of the United States Army’s Patriotism Award for supporting troops and families. He was also honored by the Georgia House of Representatives through House Resolution 394 for leadership and vision and dedication.
