David Michael Thomas

David Michael Thomas is the founder of Thomas Law Firm in Sandy Springs, Georgia. He focuses exclusively on representing individuals injured due to the negligence of others. Since opening his firm in 2010, he has dedicated his practice to helping clients involved in car, truck, motorcycle, bicycle, and pedestrian accidents, as well as premises liability and slip and fall claims.

David earned his JD from Ohio Northern University – Claude W. Pettit College of Law in 1996. He received his BA from the University of Georgia in 1993. After law school, he began his career as an insurance defense attorney, gaining valuable insight into how insurance companies evaluate and defend injury claims before transitioning to represent injured individuals.

From 1996 to 2010, David worked with respected defense firms, including Deming & Associates, Orlando & Kopelman, PC, and Drew Eckl & Farnham, LLP. During that time, he defended insurance companies and major retailers in serious injury cases. This background allows him to anticipate defense strategies and build strong cases for his clients, securing meaningful recoveries in complex personal injury matters.

David Michael Thomas is admitted to practice in the State Bar of Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Georgia Supreme Court, and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia.
