David McLeod

David McLeod is the founder of McLeod Firm, P.C., based in Gainesville, Georgia, where he provides comprehensive legal representation to individuals, families, and businesses. His practice spans family law, business law, criminal defense, and civil litigation, with a strong emphasis on courtroom advocacy and results-driven strategy developed over decades of practice.

David earned his Juris Doctor from Georgia State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the same institution. His academic background supports a disciplined, analytical approach to legal problem-solving, advocacy, and decision-making across complex and emotionally charged matters in both trial and appellate courts.

Throughout his career, David has tried and won more than 60 jury trials and conducted hundreds of motion hearings. He has also achieved successful outcomes on appeal before the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Georgia Supreme Court, and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, reflecting deep experience across all stages of litigation.

Prior to founding his firm, David was a partner at Robbins & McLeod, where he served as lead counsel in complex litigation and managed firm operations. Earlier, he practiced commercial litigation at The Nodvin Firm in Atlanta, handling matters from initial pleadings through trial and earning recognition for representing corporate clients as sole counsel.

David began his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney, where he advanced to lead the prosecution of crimes against children. In that role, he coordinated closely with law enforcement and child services, maintained a perfect trial record in abuse cases, and received a formal commendation for improving prosecutorial outcomes and procedures.
