David M. Datz

David M. Datz, Esq. is the Founder and President of David Marshall Datz, P.C., a Boston-based law firm focused on real estate and estate planning. With a legal career rooted in client service and technical precision, David has built a respected practice representing owners, developers, buyers, and lenders in a wide range of real estate matters. His work includes drafting and negotiating condominium, loft, and commercial purchase and sale agreements, as well as overseeing residential and commercial financing transactions.

David earned his B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Bryant University and his J.D. from New England Law, Boston.

David brings deep experience in Massachusetts condominium law, acting as trusted counsel to numerous condominium associations. He advises on governance, updates to governing documents, refinancing, trustee matters, and vendor contracts. He also leads many of the firm’s commercial lease negotiations, helping clients achieve favorable terms for a wide range of property types. In recognition of his leadership in conveyancing, David serves on the Real Estate Bar Association (REBA) and is a member of its Conveyancing Leadership Council.
