David L. Mendelson is the managing partner of Mendelson Firm, PLLC, in Memphis, Tennessee. Born and raised in Memphis, he joined the firm in 1994 after completing law school and purchased the firm in 2017. He has built his career on providing clear and trusted legal counsel in creditors’ rights and estate planning. David is known for his dedication to his clients and his strong leadership within the legal community.
David earned his B.A. from the University of Missouri in 1991 and his J.D. from the University of Tulsa in 1994. He is admitted to practice in the State of Tennessee and the U.S. District Courts for the Western and Middle Districts of Tennessee. His commitment to learning and service is clear through his active memberships and professional contributions.
Over the years, David has expanded the firm’s services to help clients with essential estate planning and probate needs, while continuing to guide clients through complex creditors’ rights matters. He is a proud member of the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys and has served on numerous professional boards. His roles include Chair of the Tennessee Bar Association’s Creditor Practice Section and leadership positions within the Commercial Law League of America.
